NEW CITY, N. Y. -- Tickets are available for the third annual New City Rotary Wine and Food Festival planned for 4-7 p.m., Saturday, at Rockland County Day School in Congers.Featuring live music, entertainment and refreshments, the festival benefits the hungry and other charitable causes in Rockland County and throughout the world, organizers said.

The Total Eclipse To Perform Friday in Hillburn At Torne Valley Vineyard
HILLBURN, N.Y. -- A seven-piece R&B funk band is set to bring smooth jazz, Motown and Caribbean beats to Hillburn on Friday.
Wayne Cobham and the Total Eclipse is to take the stage at the Torne Valley Vineyards on Torne Valley Road at 7:30 p.m. Friday, according to the venue's Facebook page.
The band has shared the stage with some legendary acts over the years, including Regina Belle, The Delfonics, The Main Ingredient, Instant Funk, Bob Marley's Wailers and David Johansen, according to event organizers.

2016 SeptemberFest Coming To Streets Of Nyack
NYACK, N.Y. -- The village of Nyack has scheduled its SeptemberFest Street Fair for 10 a.m. on Sept. 11, according to the Nyack Chamber of Commerce.
The event, which runs until 5 p.m., is scheduled to block off downtown Nyack at Main Street and Broadway to allow more than 300 vendors to display their products, according to the Chamber.
Art, jewelry, clothing, crafts, home decor, international food and a host of other street fair items are expected to be available for purchase.
According to the Chamber, a children's carnival will also offer entertainment for families.
