Overturned Truck In Rockaway Shuts Multiple Lanes Of Route 80 (Developing) A crash on Route 80 caused major traffic delays Saturday afternoon, May 23, the NJDOT site shows. The crash that involved an overturned impacted traffic in both directions west of Exit 37 for County Route 513/Hibernia Avenue in Rockaway, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. As of 1:17 p.m., three of four eastbound lanes were closed while one of four westbound lanes was shut down, authorities said. The incident was first reported around 11:11 a.m., according to NJDOT. Major backups were reported.

Driver Pulled From I-270 Tractor-Trailer Crash In Montgomery County Dies, Officials Say A Maryland driver died after becoming trapped inside a mangled vehicle during a violent crash with a tractor trailer on I-270 Friday morning. Rescue crews rushed to the northbound express lanes near Shady Grove Road around 7:30 a.m., where firefighters found the passenger vehicle crushed in the wreckage during the height of rush-hour traffic in Montgomery County.
