At around 5 a.m. on Sept. 29, crews were called to the 300 block of North Charles Street, where there was a reported fire inside a manhole with flames showing near the intersection of Pleasant Street. Crash Causes Major Delays On I-81: PennDOT (Developing) There's lane restriction on Interstate 81 following a multiple vehicle crash on Friday evening, Sept. 27, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice.  Emergency crews were called to the scene of the crash on  on I-81 southbound 1.1 miles north of Exit 57: PA 114 - Mechanicsburg at 6:08 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA. No injuries have been reported, according to emergency dispatchers.  A tow was at the scene at 7 p.m., Schreffler said.  Check back here for updates.
