Rockland Man Assaults Wife In Front Of Children, Police Say

STONY POINT, N.Y. -- A Monsey man is behind bars after being charged Thursday with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child for assaulting his wife in front of his children, according to Stony Point police.

Tomasz Dluzniewski, 44. was also charged with assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct, police said.

Police responded to the home where they found Dluzniewski assaulting his wife in front of the four children. Following his arrest, police discovered that he was also wanted on a warrant for violating an Order of Protection for a previous domestic violence incident, police said.

Dluzniewski is currently being held at the Stony Point lockup before appearing in the Stony Point Justice Court, police said.
