Orangetown Police Charge Three With DWI

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Orangetown police arrested three men in separate incidents last week on charges ranging from reckless driving to driving while intoxicated.

The first incident occurred Tuesday, when Accer Crisostomo, 26, of Sparkill was arrested after being involved in a traffic accident where he was found to be under the influence after failing several sobriety tests, police said. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and released. He is due back in Orangetown Town Court on Wednesday, Jan. 6, police said.

Police said the second arrest happened on Christmas Day, when Jeyvi Percent, 24, of Spring Valley, was involved in a car accident on Main Street in Nyack. He failed numerous failed sobriety test on the scene and was arrested and charged with reckless driving and driving under the influence, police said. He was released on bail and is due in Nyack Village Court on Tuesday, Jan. 19.

The third arrest took place Sunday, when Tyrone Toral, 39, of Spring Valley, was stopped for a traffic violation in Nyack and failed numerous field sobriety test on the scene, police said. He was arrested after refusing to take a chemical breath test. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and is due in Nyack Village Court on Tuesday, Jan 26.
