PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- Maureen O’Sullivan Shanahan, a resident of Pearl River, died Sunday, May 1. She was 84.
She was born on Nov. 25,1931, in Manhattan to Patrick and Mary O’Sullivan.
She was educated in Ireland. She married Patrick Shanahan in 1959 and moved to Pearl River in 1972. She worked in Long Island for 30 years for Tri-Wall Containers and retired as office manager.
She is survived by her sister, Eileen Quinn (Kevin).
She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick.
Visitation is Thursday, May 5, from 4-8 p.m. at the Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 6, at 10 a.m., at St. Aedan’s R. C. Church, 23 Reld Drive, Pearl River. Burial will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, N.Y.
