PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- John M. Blanco, a lifelong resident of Pearl River, died Sunday, Feb.7. He was 30.
He was born Feb. 9, 1985, in Nyack, to John and Elizabeth (Eves) Blanco.
Blanco was educated in Pearl River and graduated from Pearl River High School in 2003. He earned an associate degree with honors in science from Rockland Community College in 2006 and a bachelor's degree in science with Honors from Dominican College, Blauvelt, in 2009.
He is survived by his parents and his siblings, Jenna (Blanco) and Jeremy Rose and Brianna (Isaac) Blanco and his grandmother, Geri (Oliveto) Blanco;.
Visitation is Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. Prayers will be said at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
