PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – Eileen Patricia Moran, a resident of Pearl River, died Tuesday, July 26. She was 70.
She was born Oct. 31, 1945, in New York, N.Y., and was raised in Woodside, Queens. On May 17, 1969, she married William Moran and moved to Flushing, Queens.
In 1979, they moved to Pearl River. For many years, she worked for both the Pearl River and Hastings-On-Hudson school districts.
She is survived by her husband William; daughter Christine Burton (Moran); sister Peggy Brennan of Oakdale; brother Gene Brennan of Staten Island; and grandsons Christopher, Matthew and Danny Burton.
She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Brennan and Catherine (Sullivan) Brennan; and her son-in-law, Scott Burton.
Visitation will be from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m., Saturday at St. Aedan's R. C. Church, Pearl River. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet.
