Ann F. Wright, 77, Of Pearl River

PEARL RIVER, N.Y. – Dr. Ann F. Wright, a resident of Pearl River and formerly of North Arlington, N.J., died Saturday, July 2. She was 77.

Born Aug.1, 1938, in Worcester, Mass., she was the daughter of Francis and Agnes Keleher.

She was a biology professor at St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, and she also was on the nursing faculty at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, N.J.

She received her PhD in nursing in May 1995, from Greenwich University.

She is survived by her children, Andrew R. Wright III (Sharon), F. Kelly Wright (Dina), Dr. Kathleen Kelley (Michael) and Jennifer Ranft (Rick); and grandchildren, Mike, Shaun (Eva), Brian and Meghan Kelley; Holly and Quinn Wright.

She was predeceased by her husband Andrew R. Wright Jr.

Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Queen of Peace R.C. Church, 10 Franklin Place, North Arlington. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington.

 In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Birthright.
