NYACK, N.Y. -- Five years of effort will culminate Saturday, Nov. 21 when the Nyack Skatepark opens up in Memorial Park, according to lohud.com
The Nyack Needs a Skatepark Committee, which has been lobbying for the park since 2010, says the 5,000-square-foot concrete structure was built by Misiano Skateparks, lohud said.
The grand opening celebration includes an event from noon-4 p.m. Nov. 21 that will feature live music, food vendors and skateboarding contests, according to the report.
