NEW CITY, N.Y. -- The Historical Society of Rockland County in New City is organizing “History in Your Own Backyard” bus trips to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Haverstraw (1616–2016).

This is a limited time offer to reserve seats on the bus for any or all of this year’s three tours: Historic Houses of Worship (Saturday, June 4), Historic Cemeteries (Saturday, Sept. 17) and Pipe Organs (Saturday, Nov. 19). 

The regular price to participate in the 2016 tours is $69/person per tour ($64/person per tour for HSRC members). 

However, those who sign up (and pay) before May 1 will be given an additional $10 off each tour.

“Special surprises” happened on each tour that were not advertised in the brochure. 

This offer is being extended to friends of members, who will receive the same discount if they sign up using the “Early Bird Discount” ($10 off for each person) form before May 1. Save a total of $30 per person.
