Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt Recognized

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- The Dominican Sisters of Blauvelt are celebrating National Catholic Sisters Wednesday through March 14.

The national celebration has been recognized by the Rockland County Legislature with a proclamation. 

This proclamation marks the second time in the nation when National Catholic Sisters Week was recognized by a local government. 

The week honors women in the religious order.
