Piermont Historical Society Looks At Life In The 1920s

PIERMONT, N.Y. -- The PaperMill Speakeasy will recreate the vibe of the 1920s for the premiere of "Piermont's Paper Mill — Stories of the Factory" at The View on the Hudson Restaurant on Thursday, March 10.

"Piermont's Paper Mill" is a film that features interviews describing life in the era. The film is narrated by Grammy Award-winner Tom Chapin.

The PaperMill Speakeasy will feature cocktail hour followed by a full buffet dinner with unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks, as well as dancing and music from the Old No. 7 Band. A cash bar will also be available.

Attire inspired by the 1920s or casual chic is requested.

Tickets are $99 or $109 after Feb. 28. 

The View on the Hudson Restaurant is at 10 Shad Row in Piermont.

The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m.
