PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- Pearl River Public Library will host a free Naloxone training session on Thursday, April 14.

Naloxone can be administered via a nasal spray to temporarily reverse the effects of an opioid or heron-induced overdose until first responders arrive.

Participants will leave training with their own Naloxone kit with two doses.

Training will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
