Motorists who had to be on the road faced hazardous driving conditions Saturday morning with the steady snowfall and fog making for poor visibility.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 2 p.m. Saturday.

A wintry mix will transition to showers south of I-287 Saturday morning with the transition occurring by around noon in interior sections, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday's high temperature will reach the mid to upper 30s.

A few showers early Saturday night will become a steady rain overnight.

The snow should all melt away during the day Sunday with steady rain expected and highs in the mid 50s.
