Route 17 In Rockland Partially Reopens After Water Main Break

Update:

One lane on Route 17 in Sloatsburg is now open in each direction after the roadway had been closed much of the morning Tuesday following a water main break.

Earlier report:

A water main breaks has resulted in the closure of Route 17 in Sloatsburg in both directions on Tuesday morning.

 Traffic is being diverted. 

Motorists are urged to use alternate routes, Ramapo Police said just after 9 a.m.
