Roads Closed In Rockland For Milling Work

SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. -- Motorists should be aware that the Spring Valley Highway Department has closed South Central Avenue and a section of another road Friday for milling work.

Drivers can expect the road to be closed from Route 59 to East Castle Avenue until 4 p.m. The closure started at 7 a.m.

In addition, the west section of Pipertown Road from Hyenga Way to South Central Avenue will also be closed.

Detour signs will direct drivers to alternate routes. If possible, avoid the area.
