Beginning on Tuesday, all southbound lanes on the Palisades Interstate Parkway between exit 15 (Old Gate Hill Road) and exit 13 (Route 202) are expected to be closed between Monday and Thursday as crews perform construction activities.

Work is expected to last from approximately 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each day. The closures are expected to last through July 13. Single lane closures are expected to occur on the roadway beginning at 8 p.m., prior to the full closure.

The New York State Department of Transportation said that motorists can expect to follow the signed detour and should expect delays. Motorists have been reminded by the DOT that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
