NYACK, N.Y. - Last year's Nyack High boys lacrosse team finished with a 5-12 record, after losing in the first round of the playoffs.

"We were a young team last year," Indians coach Justin Henry told Daily Voice. "We had a lot of sophomores and freshmen on the team, and lost in the first round to the No. 1 seeded team."

Henry believes that experience will serve the Indians well, and said the team is focused, and looking for an improved spring season.

Check out the video to see Daily Voice's conversation with coach Henry, as well as team captain and University at Albany-bound junior goalkeeper Will Ramos.

The Indians lost to Suffern, 10-5, Saturday, evening their record at 1-1 on the young season.

Brendan O'Sullivan had two goals and one assist, Noah Soriano and Evan Fiore each scored, and Ramos stopped 10 shots on goal and scored a goal himself.
