The former New York Ranger was visiting Sophia Grace of Maywood, 2, who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in September, and Stage 2 Spinal Cancer in October.

“Just a regular day at the clinic with Mark Messier. How was everyone else’s day? We are just going to call today a GOOD day,” states a post on a Facebook page for the toddler -- “Fi the Fierce's Journey to BEAT Leukemia.”

A YouCaring page for the toddler had garnered more than $6,000 and numerous messages of support by Tuesday evening.

“The general ‘cure’ for pediatric ALL is 90% we have faith that you WILL beat this," the page states.

Messier gave a big wave to the officers before jumping into his Audi SUV and driving away.
