Classes continued Monday as Orange & Rockland Utilities worked at the scene before power was restored later in the morning.

School officials said all students and staff are safe, but the school’s phones are still not working.

In the event of an emergency requiring parents to contact the school, they are asked to call the District’s Offices at 845-357-7783.

The school's resource officer remained on site and kept in close contact with the police department.
