Concussions, What You Need To Know At Orangetown Seminar

ORANGEBURG, N.Y. -- The community is invited to attend a "What You Need to Know About Concussions" seminar at the Tappan Zee High School on Wednesday, Aug. 31.

No registration is required for this free seminar.

Seminar speakers will include Dr. Mill Etienne, who is a neurologist and brain injury specialist; Nicholas Belasco, director of a concussion management program; Chris Rastelli, acting athletic director at the high school; Jessica Lappee, athletic trainer at the high school; and Judy Flagg, the school nurse.

A speech pathologist and physical therapist will also participate in a panel discussion, which will be followed by a Q&A session.

The event is sponsored by state Sen. David Carlucci and Schools Superintendent Robert Pritchard.

The seminar will begin at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium, 15 Dutch Hill Road, in Orangeburg.
