Two-Story Former Group Home Up For Sale In West Haverstraw

The state is selling a former group home at 64-66 Church Street at auction on Thursday, Aug. 31. The minimum bid is $160,000.

The two-story 2,464 square foot former group home is situated on a .18 acre lot. The property consists of six bedrooms, and two full baths. The property could be converted to two units with each unit consisting of a living room, eat-in kitchen, three bedrooms, and one bathroom, the state said.

The state acquired the property in 1989. Open houses will be held on Thursday, Aug. 10 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Friday, Aug. 11 from 10:00 am to noon, Thursday, Aug. 17 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and Tuesday, Aug. 22 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
