The former Temple Beth El property was bought by Monsey-based United Talmudical Academy, according to Lohud.

The buyers acquired the property via a June auction. In excess of 100 possible buyers conveyed interest in the 32,000-square-foot building, which sits on 5.6 acres, said Lohud.

There were reportedly four bids for the property equaling or exceeding $8 million, Joshua Olshin, managing partner for AuctionAdvisors, told Lohud.

The bid that won the property was for $9.196 million, he reportedly said.

Temple Beth El congregation and Beth Torah of Upper Nyack merged last year to create the Reform Temple of Rockland in response to declining membership and revenues, Lohud reported.

The purchaser runs schools in Spring Valley, Ramapo, Kiryas Joel and Brooklyn, according to Lohud.
