Woman, 22, Suffers Injuries In Ramapo Domestic Dispute, Police Say

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A 22-year-old New Hempstead man was charged with assault after injuring his girlfriend during a domestic dispute on Monday.

Ramapo officers responded to a report of domestic violence and found a woman suffering from various injuries inflicted by the unidentified man, police said.

He was charged with assault, criminal mischief, and harassment and is being held at the Rockland County Jail.
