West Nyack Man Faces DWI Charges After Driving On Wrong Side Of Road

ORANGETOWN, N.Y. – A West Nyack man is facing charges after he was pulled over for driving on the wrong side of the road, according to police.

Orangetown police arrested a West Nyack man and charged him with driving while intoxicated after he was pulled over for driving on the wrong side of Cedar Street in Nyack recently.

Orangetown police said Nicholas Diana, 23, was driving north in the southbound lane of Cedar Street in Nyack on Saturday, July 16.

Diana smelled of alcohol and his speech was slurred, police said.

He failed field sobriety tests and was taken to a local hospital for tests to determine his blood alcohol content, police said.

The results of those tests are pending.

Diana was charged with driving while intoxicated and is to appear in Nyack Justice Court on Thursday, Aug. 4, police said.
