ORANGETOWN, N.Y. – Two men, who police say were acting suspiciously at a gas station in Pearl River, are now facing drug charges.
Arrested on Sunday at the Gulf gas station on North Middletown Road were Conor Gorman, 27, of Elmsford, and Matthew Capuano, 28, of Nyack, police said.
Gorman, who police said had pills and packets of what was believed to be heroin was charged with third-, fourth- and seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Capuano was charged with third- and fourth-degree possession of a controlled substance, police said.
Police said a search of the area where the two were “interacting” turned up more packets of what was believed to be heroin.
After arraignment, the two were each held on $15,000 bail and sent to Rockland County Jail, police said.
They were to appear in court on Friday, Sept. 9.
