The drugs, valued at more than $300,000, were intercepted through U.S. Customs from Canda en route to three locations in Rockland County, said Rockland County Sheriff's Office Chief William Barbera.
Taking part in the take-down included the Rockland County Sheriff's Office working in conjunction with the Department Homeland Security, Ramapo Police, South Nyack/Grandview Police, Piermont Police, Suffern Police, and the N.J. Palisades Interstate Parkway Police.
Meifeng Pan-Zheng, 39, and Pan Fei, 45, were charged with felony criminal possession of marijuana. Pan Fei was also charged with two counts of two counts of criminal possession of marijuana.Police also seized $10,000 in U.S. and Canadian currency, Barbera said.
Both bonded out of the Rockland County Jail on $10,000 bail.
