Suspicious Man In Woods At Large After Fleeing From Police In Blauvelt

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - The Orangetown Police Department is seeking the community’s assistance as they search for a suspicious man that was recently spotted in the woods before fleeing police near Swannekin Road in Blauvelt.

Shortly before 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, police received reports of a suspicious white male in the wooded area east of Swannekin Road. When the man was prompted about what he was doing, he fled the area on foot to the east.

Police described the suspect as a 6-feet tall man in his 20s, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with black hair and a baseball hat. He was wearing an Eli Manning (10) Giants football jersey.
