Suspect At Large After Overnight Stabbing At Rockland Restaurant

A suspect in an overnight stabbing at a Rockland County restaurant is at large, Ramapo Police said Saturday morning.

Just after 1 a.m. on Saturday, RPD responded to El Quetzal Restaurant at 63 East Eckerson Road where a 39-year-old from Hillcrest was stabbed in the back by his left shoulder, police said.

The victim did not sustain life-threatening injuries, police said.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction and RPD detectives responded for the investigation.

The case is being followed up by the Ramapo PD Investigations Division.
