Stony Point Woman, 33, Violates Order Of Protection, Police Say

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Stony Point woman was arrested Friday for violating an order of protection, according to Stony Point Police.

Kristen Prentice, 33, was charged with criminal contempt and violation of a protective order after officers received a call to check on her welfare, said Lt. Daniel Hylas.

Instead of finding her at home, officers found her at the residence of a person who had a court order of protection against her, Hylas said.

Prentice was processed and released and is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
