NYACK, N.Y. – A South Nyack man faces a drug charge after he was arrested last weekend, Orangetown police said.
John F. Hall, 52, was approached by a police officer near High Avenue and Frankline Street in Nyack on Saturday about 4:18 a.m. because, authorities said, he was acting suspiciously.
Police said Hall dropped a small packet of crack cocaine on the ground and was arrested on charges of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.
Hall is due in court on Tuesday, Feb. 23, police said.
