A 27-year-old Nyack man is facing charges after Orangetown Police say he injured a female family member by punching her in the head and neck during an argument that escalated.
Nicholas Perez allegedly punched the victim several times, causing substantial pain and swelling, police said.
He was arrested at the scene, charged with third-degree assault and transported to Orangetown Police Headquarters, where he was processed.
Perez was arraigned and released after posting $300 cash bail. He's due to return to Village of Nyack Justice Court at a future date.
