ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A 21-year-old man who seriously injured an acquaintance after walking up to him and striking him in the face at a Nyack bar located on Main Street has been located and is facing a felony charge, Orangetown Police said Saturday,
Nicholas Pucciarelli of Staten Island allegedly walked up to the victim and struck him in the face numerous times, causing serious injuries to the victim’s eye on Sunday, Oct. 1, police said, adding that Pucciarelli knew the male victim.
Pucciarelli was located four days later by police on Route 340 in Orangeburg and placed under arrest.
He was charged with second-degree assault, a felony.
Pucciarelli was arraigned and released on bail to return to court at a later date to answer the charge.
