ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A Pearl River man is facing felony charges of driving while intoxicated after he got into a car accident Sunday, Orangetown police said.
James Hartnett, 58, was involved in a crash on Route 304 in the hamlet around 8:22 p.m., police said.
He failed sobriety tests at the scene and submitted to a Breathalyzer test at the police station, police said.
He was issued a ticket and released to a friend, police said.
Hartnett is due in Orange Stown Justice Court on Tuesday, Oct. 4, police said.
