ORANGEBURG, N. Y. -- Orangetown police are asking anyone with information to contact them about a Thursday morning car in Orangeburg that police believe was intentionally set.

Orangetown police got the call early Thursday about a car on fire while parked in the driveway of a home on Dogwood Lane. Orangeburg firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze but police continue to investigate because it appeared suspicious, police said.

Detectives from Orangetown and Rockland County, along with arson investigators, are working together, police said.

They are asking anyone with information to call the detective bureau at (845)-359-2121.
