One Injured In Crash That Causes Orange County Road Closure

Forge Hill Road is back open to traffic following a single-vehicle traffic crash that caused minor injuries to one person, New Windsor Police said.

The crash happened about 1:11 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Forge Hill Road and Route 9W, said Vails Gate Fire Chief Chris Sweeny. 

According to the chief, there were two occupants in the vehicle when the driver crashed, causing minor injuries to one person. Both people were transported to New Windsor Hospital for observation and treatment.

Traffic was backed-up for a short time as the vehicle was removed from the roadway.
