ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A Nyack man is facing assault charges in connection with a domestic incident Friday, April 22, Orangetown police said
Roland A. King, 41, was arrested around 1:20 a.m. at the intersection of Main and Cedar streets after, police said, he got into an argument with a woman.
He was charged with third-degree assault and with resisting arrest, because he refused to be handcuffed, police said.
Both charges are misdemeanors, police said.
He is to appear at an unspecified date in Nyack Justice Court, police said.
Meanwhile, police said they have arrested a Pearl River man in connection with a different family quarrel.
Police said that Costel Mircica, 53, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, after he allegedly damaged a window during an argument with a family member.
He is to appear at an unspecified date in Town of Orangetown Justice Court, police said.
