NYACK, N.Y. -- A New Jersey man is facing several drug charges after he was arrested in Nyack, Orangetown police said.
Dean Dasilva, 35, of Bloomfield, was an occupant of a vehicle stopped on North Highland Avenue around 3:21 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, police said.
Police said a search revealed that Dasilva was in possession of three vials of Deca Durabolin, an anabolic steroid; a small quantity of powdered cocaine, multiple hypodermic instruments, marijuana and a small electronic scale.
He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeanor; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, police said.
Dasilva posted cash bail and is to appear in Nyack Justice Court on Thursday, Sept. 15.
