Peter Milshtein was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, a Class A felony.
Troopers conducted a vehicle and traffic stop on Central Avenue in Clarkstown on Sunday, May 15.
Milshtein, the operator of the vehicle, was driving with a suspended license, police said. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of marijuana, Xanax, and a large quantity of ecstasy.
Milshtein was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, unlawful possession of marijuana, and aggravated unlicensed operation.
Milshtein was arraigned on Sinday in Clarkstown Court and remanded to Rockland County Jail without bail.
