ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- A South Nyack man was charged with criminal mischief after breaking a window Wednesday at a home during a fight, according to the Orangetown Police.

Steven Wilkerson, 58, was charged after police responded to a call of a dispute on Sickles Avenue in Nyack around 4:33 a.m., said Sgt. Kirk Vega.

The homeowner told police that they had an argument with Wilkerson inside the house. After the argument, Wilkerson left, but allegedly returned later and broke a front window of the home, police said.

He was arrested and charged with criminal mischief before being released. He is scheduled to appear on Aug. 8 in Nyack Justice Court.
