ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - A man allegedly punched another Nyack resident in the face during a late night argument, leading to his arrest.

Police from Orangetown were dispatched to a Nyack home shortly after 2 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21 following reports of a dispute at the residence.

Upon arrival, police said that it was alleged that 27-year-old Shakeem Lee “subjected his victim to unwanted physical contact,” causing physical injury to his victim’s face. The victim told responding officers that Lee had punched him in the face during a dispute.

Lee had left the residence before police arrived, and was later tracked down by officers and arrested. Lee was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor. He was remanded to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.
