ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. - Three suspects are facing drug charges in Ramapo after being busted by police with cocaine and marijuana over the holiday weekend.
Late on Saturday, Oct. 7, patrol officers from the Ramapo Police Department spotted a suspicious vehicle parked with four passengers in it on Oxford Court in the Hillcrest neighborhood.
During the subsequent investigation into the suspicious vehicle and its occupants, police determined that two of the passengers were in possession of cocaine, and a third was in possession of marijuana.
The female in possession of marijuana was processed at the scene and released from custody. The two in possession of cocaine were taken to Ramapo Police Headquarters and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both were later released on bail.
Police said that all three suspects are due to return to Ramapo Town Court next month to answer the drug charges.
