Ralph C. Merola, 88, Of Tappan

TAPPAN, N.Y. -- Ralph C. Merola, 88, of Tappan, died Tuesday, Sept. 13. He was 88.

He worked in the garment industry in New York City for many years, retiring from House of Ronnie Inc. as vice president of sales and production.

He is survived by his children, Charles A. Merola and wife Marirose and Denise Karamian and husband Ashot; grandchildren, Danny, Lauren, Sara and Rebecca; partner, Elizabeth Brown and her children, Stephanie Lauler and John Harrington; brothers, Michael and Alexander and his wife Carmelina; and the mother of his children, Theresa Merola.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s RC Church, 895 Piermont Ave., Piermont with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill. Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Pizzi Funeral Home, 120 Paris Ave., Northvale.
