NYACK, N.Y. -- Joan Cramer, a resident of Nyack, died Wednesday, May 18. She was 84.
She was born in the Bronx to Theresa Schneider and John Frederick Cramer. She resided in Nyack with her brother Richard’s family for more than 20 years, after her mother Theresa, who lived in the Bronx, passed away.
Cramer thoroughly enjoyed her time at the Nyack Senior Center, where she sang in the choral group, played bingo, was the star Wii bowler, enjoyed playing dominoes with Geraldine and especially loved listening to Marilyn Arnold play her accordion.
She is survived by her brother Richard Cramer; sister-in-law Sharon Aperto; niece Claire Cramer; nephew Matthew Cramer; and her brother Jack’s (deceased) family who live on the West Coast and niece Joanne who lives in Missouri.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Ann’s RC Church in Nyack.
