PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- Ferdinand J. Franko, of Pearl River, died Thursday, Aug. 11. He was 92.
He was born April 8, 1924, in New York, N.Y. to Joseph and Rose Franko.
He worked as a teletype foreman for New York Bell in New York City before his retirement. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and Korea, attaining the rank of radio man first class.
He lived in Pearl River the past 40 years and was a parishioner of St. Margaret R.C.Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Rosemary of Pearl River and Dorothy and husband John Rok of Suffern; and granddaughters, Christy and Nicole Rok.
