SPARKILL, N.Y. -- Elsie Williams Drake, 92, of Sparkill, died Sept. 29.
She was born in North Wilkesboro, N.C. and moved to New York upon her marriage. She was an active member of Thorp Senior Center, Sparkill and a longtime member of Greenbush Presbyterian Church. In her later years, she enjoyed the new trend of coloring and had become a good artist.
She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Donna Stroud (Gary), Susan Dizzine (Bob) and Diana Mandile (Joe); seven grandchildren, Michael, Bonnie, David, Jessica, Denise, Justine and Tony; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Drake.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Greenbush Presbyterian Church, 614 Western Highway South, Blauvelt, NY. Burial will follow in Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill.
