PIERMONT, N.Y. -- A long time resident of the Hudson Valley, Carol McGann-Moore, died Monday, Aug. 29. She was 70.

She was born May 25, 1946.

She fondly remembered her many years working for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as the director of client services for the southern New York Chapter. A member of Palisades Presbyterian Church for more than 40 years, she enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching Sunday school and serving as both a deacon and an elder.

She is survived by her husband Robert McGann-Moore; brother, Richard McGann (Norma); sisters in spirit, Kay and Carolyn Finck; children, Heather Finck, Jessica Finck (Chris Dooley), Matthew Moore (Scott Randall) and Lisa Moore-Long (Mark Long); and seven grandchildren, Will, Caileigh, Ben, Aidan, Andy, Jack and Ella.

Calling hours are from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Hanneman Funeral Home, 88 S. Broadway, Nyack. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Palisades Presbyterian Church. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
