Tractor-Trailer Crash Brings Down Pole, Wires In Rockland

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A tractor-trailer crashed into a telephone pole in Monsey on Friday afternoon, bringing down the pole and wires and causing several homes to lose power in the area of Cedar Lane.

The incident occurred on Cedar Lane.The drive was still in the cab when officers arrived and exited without injury after O&R deemed the wires to be safe, Ramapo Police said.

The Monsey Fire Department and Orange & Rockland Utilities also responded.
