The project, which will require the Orangetown Highway Department to pave between routes 303 and 9W will last about a week, according to officials, who said the project could be delayed by inclement weather.
Those living in the area are asked not to park along Oak Tree Road while the work is being to completed.
Drivers also are urged to adhere to all traffic signs in the area and to be cautious while moving through work zones.
