NYACK, N.Y. -- The Nyack Library's Food For Thought Lecture Series will be honoring Black History Month on Thursday by exploring Lessons from the Black Working Class.
The event, with begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, will focus, in part, on a new book of the same title that delves into America's black working class in order to present a number of lessons from which all people can benefit, according to the library.
The lecture also will discuss President Barack Obama's record on race and socioeconomic differences.
